Preziosa Magazine dedicates a new in-depth feature to D&sign, explaining how the design of exhibition spaces contributes to showcasing jewelry and shaping a jewelry store’s identity.
In the article published on October 20, 2026, titled “D&sign. Space Design Becomes Part of the Jewelry Experience, ” journalist Maria Rosaria Petito recounts the company’s participation in Vicenzaoro September 2026 and explores the relationship between architecture, furnishings, lighting, and product presentation.
A story that highlights a central principle in D&sign’s work: space is not merely the place where a piece of jewelry is displayed, but part of the way it is perceived and presented.

Vicenzaoro 2026: The Exhibition Project Takes Center Stage
This in-depth feature in Preziosa Magazine is inspired by D&sign’s participation in Vicenzaoro September 2026, an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with professionals and companies in the gold and jewelry industry.
The magazine highlights the importance of design choices in the presentation of jewelry: from the proportions of the spaces to the materials, from the display cases to the lighting, right down to the details that help define the identity of a space.
In fact, a jewelry store must do more than just look good. It must allow customers to view the products under the best possible conditions while also meeting the needs of display, customer reception, and sales.
It is precisely this relationship between functionality, display quality, and the store’s identity that makes design a fundamental component of the jewelry experience.
From design to execution: the significance of custom-made
Among the topics addressed in the article is the continuity between the various phases of D&sign’s work.
A jewelry store design project begins with an analysis of the space and the client’s needs, develops through the study of layout, volumes, materials, and lighting, and is realized through the production of custom-made elements.
Display cases, counters, display units, and lighting systems must work in harmony with one another, maintaining consistency between the initial concept and the final result.
A process we also explored in depth in our article Jewelry Store Design: How a Custom Project Really Comes Together, which focuses on the stages involved in designing a new display space.
Lighting plays a particularly important role, directly influencing how gemstones, metals, and surfaces are perceived. In our in-depth article How to Design Lighting for a Jewelry Display Case , we analyze the relationship between light sources, glass, reflections, and the displayed product.
